About Us
Omegacon is a one day board game convention in Geelong. — a whole day of tabletop fun for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned strategist or picking up your first game, there's a seat at the table for you.
Held on Saturday 30 May 2026 at the Vines Road Community Centre in Hamlyn Heights, Omegacon brings together the local gaming community for an epic day of fun, laughter, and friendly competition.
Bring your own games or dive into ours — we'll have a library available to borrow and play throughout the day. Open gaming runs from 10 am to 9 pm, so there's plenty of time to play.

Prebooking a ticket helps us to understand numbers. However, tickets should be available on the day.

Please bring along any games you might like to play. Please be willing to teach and accommodate new players if they want to join you in your game.

Children are welcome to attend and play, but must be supervised by an adult.
Tea and coffee is provided. A small selection of snacks and cold drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
There are also cafes, food shops and a supermarket within a short walk along Vines Rd.
Geelong has a thriving gaming community! There are plenty of events you can join.
We run community meetups at local neighborhood houses on the second (Geelong West) and fourth (Vines Rd) Fridays of each month. Find our schedule on aftergame.

Omegacon 2027 will happen in late May/early June. We have ideas about what we would like to add (role-playing games, large scale social deduction games, chill-out spaces, a second hand games stall). If you have ideas and would like to get involved, contact us.
